Central Uganda and Kampala, the Capital
During my time in Uganda, I was lucky to study and work in two different regions in Uganda and travel to many different parts of Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. On this page and the next pages are some pictures of the regions and cities.
During my six months, I spent...
Over three months in Kampala studying
Less than one month in Fort Portal in Western Uganda researching education
Two months with the Holy Cross in Kyarusozi, Uganda
I traveled to:
Southwestern Uganda (Mbarara, Ruhira) and Kigali, Rwanda for a week
Eastern Uganda (Jinja, Mbale, Busia) for a week
Northern Uganda (Gulu and Kitgum) for a few days
Nairobi, Kenya for just under a week
No amount of pictures could ever capture the culture or characteristics of an area or town, and I did not travel extensively, so these pages are a bare minimum of what each region has to offer. Also, please note that I did not travel to Northeast Uganda including the Karamojong region, the Central Eastern Region including Soroti, or Northwestern Uganda, so these pages are an incomplete introduction to Uganda to say the least.
